ACR and Airport Memmingen agree on Cooperation

We are pleased to announce that the German "Flughafen Memmingen GmbH" has commissioned the "ACR Group" to take over the air traffic control tasks for Memmingen Airport as of March 1, 2025. Two companies with the aim of further developing collaboration between airport and air traffic control and thus offering the regional airport market a new, entrepreneurial provider alternative. The key to successful cooperation lies in a genuine partnership with a focus on lean, efficient structures and processes. The focus is on the employees. Safety is the top priority. Today, air navigation services in Memmingen are provided by "DFS Aviation Services GmbH". 

Memmingen is one of the most successful regional airports in Germany, with passenger numbers approaching the 3 million barrier. What began as a pioneering venture by local entrepreneurs has developed into the third-largest Bavarian commercial airport with a regular place among the top 15 German commercial airports. The attractive catchment area extends from Munich to Switzerland and Austria. The airport's success story impressively demonstrates the potential of regional airports. Memmingen is developing mobility and complementary business areas. With air traffic control, a further field is now being added.
