The aviation industry in a transformation. To “build back better” in a way that reduces emissions that allows the entry of new airspace user groups and while technologies are changing, requires adaptation and flexibility from the industry.
Airports will need to adjust their business concepts and integrate new users and technologies in their path to transform into air mobility infrastructures. Equally, the service providers will need to conceptually adjust themselves and transform into air mobility management companies if they want to continue to provide airports with needed competence and services!
We at ACR have started with our transformation process. While cost-efficient and lean provision of ANS (ATC/AFIS) still forms the core of our service portfolio, our Swedish mother company, supported by our two European start-up companies in Switzerland and Germany, is currently developing additional services and competences that allow an integration of new airspace user groups and embrace the benefits of digitalization and new technologies for its airport customers.
